“Happy are people of integrity, who follow the law of the LORD. Happy are those who obey His decrees and search for Him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in His paths. You have charged us to keep Your commandments carefully. Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect Your principles! Then I will not be disgraced when I compare my life with Your commands. When I learn Your righteous laws, I will thank You by living as I should! I will obey Your principles” (Psalm 119:1-8, NLT).

“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about His law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction” (Psalm 1:1-3,6, NLT).

“No good thing will the LORD withhold from those who do what is right” (Psalm 84:11, NLT).

“We are made right in God’s sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done. For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet now God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God’s anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed His blood, sacrificing His life for us” (Romans 3:22-25, NLT).

“He personally carried away our sins in His own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right” (1 Peter 2:24, NLT).

“Throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is rotten through and through, full of lust and deception. Instead, there must be a spiritual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes. You must display a new nature because you are a new person, created in God’s likeness—righteous, holy, and true” (Ephesians 4:22-24, NLT).

“May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God” (Philippians 1:11, NLT).
