Joshua Nations is a global missions organization dedicated to finishing the Great Commission by equipping and empowering Christian leaders worldwide.

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Russ and Lana Frase, Joshua Nations has expanded its reach to over 80 nations, transforming communities through biblical training, mobilization, and compassionate outreach. With a heart for the unreached and a commitment to stewardship, the ministry partners with local leaders to build a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

Our Mission

Our mission is to train and equip the next generation of Christian leaders to disciple nations and fulfill the Great Commission. Over 90% of church leaders worldwide lack formal training, leaving the global church underprepared to reach the 3.44 billion people in 7,219 unreached people groups. Joshua Nations addresses this gap by providing accessible, biblically grounded training to empower indigenous leaders to reach the lost, plant churches, and disciple their communities. We believe the Great Commission can be completed in our lifetime through the power of the Holy Spirit, but requires a healthy and mobilized church.

Our Key Programs

Joshua Nations operates several impactful programs to equip leaders and transform nations:

  • Bible Training Centers (BTCs): The heartbeat of Joshua Nations, BTCs offer a two-year curriculum translated into over 60 languages, providing autonomous discipleship training through biblical study and practical ministry. Graduates often plant churches and reach unreached communities.
  • Church Multiplication Training: This program equips leaders to plant and reproduce churches, fostering sustainable growth in regions with limited access to the Gospel.
  • Women of Valor: Empowering women globally through prayer groups, training resources, and conferences to effect change in their families and communities.
  • Business & Sustainability: This initiative trains local entrepreneurs in developing nations with skills in financial literacy, marketing, and management, integrating faith and work to create sustainable enterprises.
  • Prayer Movement: A global prayer network, including the “21 Days for Christ” initiative, mobilizes believers to pray strategically for nations, such as the U.S. during key moments like elections.
  • Online School: Offering free, accessible biblical teachings through video courses, this program ensures leaders worldwide can grow in faith at their own pace.
  • Relief Efforts: In times of crisis—natural disasters, wars, or famines—Joshua Nations serves as the hands and feet of Jesus, providing tangible aid to those in need.
