David Chadwick has been a prominent figure in the Charlotte, North Carolina, religious community for over four decades. He is the founding pastor of Moments of Hope Church (MOHC), where he continues to lead and inspire his congregation.

David Chadwick’s journey began with a degree in Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he also played basketball under the legendary coach Dean Smith and was part of the 1969 Final Four team. He furthered his education with a graduate degree in Counseling from the University of Florida and earned both a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary.

In addition to his pastoral duties, David Chadwick is an accomplished author, having written eight books.

David has been married to Marilynn, his wife of over 40 years, and together they have three children and ten grandchildren. His commitment to his family and his faith continues to be a cornerstone of his life and ministry.

Marilynn Chadwick is known for her dedication to faith-based initiatives and mentoring young leaders. She is the founder of Seeds of Hope, a non-profit organization established in 2006 that provides financial support and mentorship to talented young individuals with big dreams but limited resources.

Marilynn is also an integral part of the teaching team at Moments of Hope Church.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts at Duke Divinity School.

Marilynn’s work with Seeds of Hope and her involvement in the church highlight her commitment to empowering young people and fostering spiritual growth within her community.
