91203 Help Disciple Others

Make Disciples of All Nations

“Then Jesus came up and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'” – Matthew 28:18-20

The mission of the church, the body of Christ on the earth, is to make disciples of all the peoples.

Christian discipleship is a life-long process of following Jesus as the Lord and Savior to become more like the Master and King of the universe.

Use JO App in Your Discipleship

You can use this app to help disciple others to follow Jesus. Here is how:

  1. Invite another person who is 1) hungry for God and 2) willing to commit to this discipleship process.
  2. Set a meeting time and place either in person or online. A weekly 1-hour meeting is recommended.
  3. Meet and discuss the articles in this app.
  4. Invite others to join the process.
  5. When you have four people in your group, you break into two groups.

When You Meet

  1. Choose an article or a series of articles to study.
  2. Before each meeting, read the assigned article. We recommend you read one article for a meeting.
  3. First, review and discuss your personal action point from the previous week. A personal action point (PAP) is something you learned from the article that you have decided to put into practice. “How successful have you been to put into practice what you learned last week?”
  4. Discuss the topic covered in the article.
  5. Also, each time you meet, ask each other the following two questions:
“In what ways have you been an example of the love, character, and purposes of Jesus this week?”
“How have you experienced God in your life this week?”
  6. Conclude the conversation with a personal action point from this week’s article.
  7. Pray for each other.
