And yet, sometimes, we may feel apprehensive because we don’t know what to say or where to start.
Just like a tract, this JO App can be a good tool and help in introducing others to Jesus.
“Share Jesus” is a section in this JO App that contains both articles and videos you can use to share the Gospel with others.
You can simply share the article or the video, using the “Share” button. When you send the link to the person, you can add your message like “I thought you may be interested in this article (or video).” Then, follow up by contacting the person and ask what he/she thought about it.
When you ask, it is helpful to ask “open-ended questions” that allow them to share their thoughts and feelings. The opposite of open-ended questions is a closed-ended question that will be responded to with either yes or no. For example, “Did you like the article?” is a closed-ended question. “What did you learn from the Bible verse?” is an open-ended question.
The more effective way to use the JO App is to read an evangelistic article or watch an evangelistic video together with the person with whom you want to share the Gospel.
The articles and videos on this JO App are “self-explanatory”. They can lead their readers (viewers) clearly through the Gospel presentation.
After reading the article or watching a video, you can ask the person what he/she thought of it or if he/she is ready to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Often people want to know if there is evidence to support the claims of Jesus or the reliability of the Bible because Christians often refer to it to share the Gospel.
